French Company Signs Lease at 1500 Broadway |

Etrali Trading Solutions, a French company, has signed a seven-and-a-half-year lease for 5,837 square feet on the 19th floor of 1500 Broadway, the Commercial Observer has learned.
Starting rent for Etrali’s lease is in the mid-$50s per square foot according to CompStak’s data. An Etrali employee confirmed the deal, citing an expiring lease at the company’s current 225 Liberty Street location and better financial terms as motivation for the relocation. The company expects to move into its new Times Square space next month.

Dentsu Takes Additional Floor at 32 Sixth Ave. |

The American arm of Tokyo-based advertising giant Dentsu, Inc. has signed a 10-year lease for an additional 36,845 square feet across the entire 20th floor at 32 Avenue of the Americas, sources tell The Commercial Observer.
The expansion brings Dentsu’s occupancy to almost 220,000 square feet at the 27-story Tribeca skyscraper, following what sources described as a business expansion tied to the firm’s acquisition of Aegis Group earlier this year.

Nonprofit Signs For 14,567 SF at 120 Wall Street |

The Commercial Observer has learned that Concepts of Independence inked a 14,567-square-foot relocation deal at 120 Wall Street, cementing the Silverstein Properties-owned building’s reputation as a base for nonprofits.
The tenant will move from the 10th floor to part of the ninth in the 15-year transaction. Marc R. Shapses, Nancy Weinstein and Joseph Messina of Studley represented Concepts of Independence, a 40-year-old organization that assists disabled individuals. Roger Silverstein represented the landlord in-house. Asking rent was $38 a foot.

Only ‘70 Days’ Left of 2013; Time Is Flying By |

Let’s face it: Summer as we know it is now over.
We are now in the middle of the “back to school” period, all of the holidays, the sun goes down earlier, the sun comes up later, the leaves start to change color—“boo!”—Halloween, the clock falls backward, the new mayor gets elected, and then the snow begins to fall.
If you are reading this on Thursday, Sept. 5 (the beginning of Rosh Hashanah), did you know that there are just 118 days remaining in 2013? Sounds like a lot doesn’t it? Well, maybe or maybe not. Thirty-four of those days fall on a weekend, which leaves just 84 days.
